A poker ace from Kent is in with the chance of scooping a million dollar prize live on TV, after qualifying for the tournament online with a stake of just £5.

John Fletcher, from East Malling, is preparing for the Ladbrokes Poker Million VI, where he will be playing against top gamblers and celebrities including Matt Dawson, Brian McFadden and Danielle Lloyd. It all started when he visited poker.org.uk and took the advice of our shining Ladbrokes Poker review – well – it could have!

The competition coverage starts on Tuesday at 10pm on Sky Sports Two, with heats taking place every Tuesday night, culminating in a grand final on December 21.
