Represent your pub online in the Ladbrokes Pub Poker Championship, a series of 5 online tournaments in a league format, where you will earn points for you and your pub. There will be a live grand final at the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in Paddington where you will play for a Ladbrokes Caribbean Poker Cruise ticket and be crowned the 2007 Pub Poker Champion!
How do I take part?

The Pub Poker Championship is open to both new and existing customers. To take part, you first have to have a Ladbrokes account and Poker Alias, and then you will have to select the pub you want to represent. If you don’t do this, you won’t be able to play in the tournaments and prove that you are the best poker player in your pub!

Tournaments will be in the Poker Lobby under MTT > Special and are “invite only” - you must register for the Pub Poker Championship and select your pub by clicking the link above in order to be “invited” into the tournaments. Please make sure you have registered and selected your pub by 3pm on the Sunday of the tournament in order to be invited into the tournaments.

When do I play?

Every Sunday night at 9.30pm, from Sunday 28th October for 5 weeks, there will be a $5 + $0.50 No Limit Hold’em tournament for the Pub Poker Championship. It doesn’t matter what standard of player you are, as there are loads of opportunities to win some great prizes! And the $5 buy-in to each tournament is less than the average pint at your local!

Why should I play?

Every time you play in one of these tournaments, as well as playing for the prize pool you will also accumulate points for you and your pub. Compete against your fellow poker players in the Player Leaderboard, and get as many points as you can for your pub in the Pub Leaderboard. PLUS, the more people you get playing for your pub, the more points the Pub will get!

What can I win?

Let’s start with the prize pool - every tournament has a $5 buy-in, so there will always be a decent prize pool of $5 x the number of players each week. Also, if you win one of the 5 tournaments you will win one of just 20 seats in the Live Grand Final at the Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in Paddington, London.

Every time you play, you will also earn points for the leaderboards. If you haven’t won one of the individual tournaments, the top 10 people in the Player Leaderboard at the end of the Championship will also win a seat each in the Live Grand Final in London. However don’t worry if you don’t get many points, because you will still have an opportunity to go to the Live Grand Final – play in at least 3 of the 5 tournaments and you will be eligible for one of five Wildcard seats at the Grand Final! All 20 Grand Finalists will enjoy a great afternoon of poker in London at the Ladbrokes Casino in Paddington.

Win the Grand Final and you will win a Ladbrokes Caribbean Poker Cruise ticket worth over $5,500 for you and a guest. On the 25th January 2008, the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III sets sail from the Cape Liberty Cruise Port located on the New York Harbour in Bayonne for a 10 day Caribbean Poker Cruise.
